Take payment at booking with Mollie
An appointment paid in advance is rarely forgotten. Connect your own Mollie account and put a price on an event type: the guest pays while booking, via iDEAL or card, and the appointment is only fixed once the payment is in.
The money does not pass through Calio. With Mollie Connect the payment is created on your Mollie account, with your rates and your payout. Calio only sees whether it was paid.

Connect your Mollie account
In Calio, go to Integrations and click "Connect Mollie". You log in at Mollie and give Calio one-time permission to create payments. No Mollie account yet? Creating one is free.
Put a price on an event type
Choose per event type: the full amount up front, a deposit (you settle the rest yourself), or a no-show fee you only charge when someone does not turn up.
The guest pays while booking
After picking a time, the guest goes to Mollie’s payment page. The slot stays reserved for twenty minutes; as soon as Mollie confirms the payment, the appointment is final and the e-mails go out.
Why connect it?
Fewer no-shows
Whoever pays in advance shows up. And for those who still stay away, you can set a no-show fee per event type, which the guest sees beforehand.
Your money, your account
The payment is created directly on your own Mollie account. Calio takes no percentage of your revenue and never touches your money.
iDEAL and cards
Dutch customers pay with iDEAL, others with their card. Which payment methods you offer is set in Mollie.
No slot lost to an abandoned payment
If the guest does not pay within twenty minutes, the slot is released again for the next person.
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
Calio charges nothing extra for payments; they are included in Pro and up. Mollie charges its own fee per transaction, which you settle directly with Mollie.
What happens when a guest cancels?
The appointment lapses and the guest is notified. Whether you refund the amount is up to you in your Mollie dashboard: Calio refunds nothing automatically.
Can I ask for a deposit instead of the full amount?
Yes. Per event type you choose between the full amount, a fixed deposit or just a no-show fee. The amount is always shown on the booking page, before booking.
